wondering what trimmers, etc, you guys use and like to keep the bikini area trimmed and nice. I'd love to laser it gone, but don't have the $$. I've waxed before vacation, but am not really up for waxing maintenance and $$.

looking for recommendations to keep the hair trimmed close, and the edges bare. on amazon it looks like two different devices?

what do you do? what have to tried and hated? what do you like? sorry if there is a previous thread on this and I missed it.

thanks!

I just use a razor and shave in the direction of the hair growth, it's cheap and easy. Granted now that I'm nearly 6 months pregnant, it's pretty difficult.

When not pregnant, I use a small pair of mustache scissors and a small plastic comb to trim.

In the summer, I trim down the sides & shave when I shave my legs. I don't go fully bare (though I've done that for fun) - just enough that I can wear a bikini without any pubes peeking out.

In the winter, I trim only but never before AF.

If it saves me from communal, double-dipped, wax pots at nail salons, I'm all for it.

I should really follow it up with witch hazel or something to reduce razor burn.

This is the one I use. I keep it all very trim ( I actually take the guard on the trimmer completely off) and then shave the actual bikini area. I've been really happy with this one and it doesn't go through batteries like some of the others I've used.

I use Veet or Nair. I get ingrowns too easily, even if follow all the "shave with the grain" and other advice.

I use this one too, and also usually use it w/o the guard. I use this to keep the portions that a bikini would cover under control....for the part where the legs meet the crotch (that would show in a bikini), I shave w/ the razor. I've been pleased w/ this trimmer, although I do feel like they wear out fairly quickly. Probably b/c I leave it in the shower all the time....but it's fairly inexpensive so I don't stress about it too much.

I get ingrowns easily, too, but I'm allergic to commercial depilatory creams like Veet & Nair, so that's why I was thinking I'd follow with witch hazel. Or TendSkin, if I decide to order some. (Seriously, I get horrific rashes and pain on contact from Nair and Veet, so I don't bother anymore.)

I love the Gillette Venus Bikini Trimmer http://www.amazon.com/Gillette-Venus-Trimmer-1-count-Packages/dp/B003EMM4P0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1367638462&sr=8-1&keywords=gillette+venus+bikini+trimmer

I was buying these at Target but then stopped seeing them on the shelves :( Then I figured that I could live without my fancy bikini trimmer, save a step, and just shave everything. No. I need my fancy trimmer - I love that thing!
