DH has found a box of books from his childhood and has been reading a series of books to him that starts with bunnicula-hilarious. They are reading the sequel Howlday Inn at the moment. Just another chapter book read aloud for K/1st graders! The chapters are just about the right length..

I absolutely loved Bunnicula, Howliday Inn, and The Celery Stalks at Midnight.

I also picked up Nighty Nightmare and tried to keep up with the series, but by the time I got around to it, I'd aged out of them.

But, yes, they are hilarious.

The whole series was a big hit for my kids as well. They also have picture books and easy readers for younger kiddos.
