Is this thing worth keeping? I bought on clearance for $10 since I read that you can refill with vinegar, which is what I would do. However, now that I see it needs batteries, I'm losing faith in the idea. Do you use it and is it worth keeping? For now we just use the regular swiffer with wet refill pads. But I always spray extra vinegar which is why I thought this might work better. Mostly for linoleum/tile in kitchen and baths. TIA!

Lose it in favor of this:

http://www.libman.com/freedom-mop.aspx

Or this:

http://www.ocedar.com/p/promist-microfiber-spray-mop (I have this one and like it fine.)

Neither takes batteries, both have refillable reservoirs, and they also have washable pads, so you save money in the long run if you use them regularly. (I think the OCedar one could even fit my old Method "O-Mop" pads, which would be awesome.)

I use the Libman too...switched from Swiffer, but I wasn't aware that you could refill those Swiffer bottles. You could buy rechargeable batteries so that's no biggy, but you would still have to buy the pads. I have two pads for my Libman so if one is in the wash, the other is free to use. Been very pleased with it.
