I know this is a travel topic but I'm hoping to get more traffic here. Looking for something fun to do this summer and a friend told me they are going to Fort Walton Beach. We are in Central Texas so it's about a 13hr drive. I'm looking for family friendly resorts in that area, would love something with water slides or a lazy river.
Also looking for anything fun to do on the drive there/back. We would be driving right along the coast on I-10.
