looking for some quick help - won't leave this live long

i'm struggling with invites for DD's birthday

none of them seem quite right. i'm worried you can't read the text. i had wanted it to be white, but her shirt makes the white unusable. can you read the pink?

for option four, i would have the site move the text over to the left corner, it would not be over her face

my H has a strong preference for one, but i won't say which

thanks

ETA - removed. thanks!

Super cute! I like the 3rd one!

I don't think you can read any of them well enough. There is an easy way to lighten/darken highlights or shadows in a photo though. I think it would work best to use the last photo and lighten the top left area (background). Then use a dark color to print the text in that area.

I like option 1 best, but the last line is hard (impossible) for me to make out. BTW, are you really having the party 11-3? 4 hours? Maybe I read that wrong... Cute picture, though :)

Actually, is this something you've already paid for? Are you having them design it or print and design? I could probably design something quickly for you if you sent me the photo, but you'd need to have them printed somewhere.

eta: mpix has some cute card options that you can just stick your photo in, and I'm sure some other sites do too.

I like the third one, but could you make the font a darker color? Maybe the blue from the rainbow? On my screen the pink reads really faint in some places.

gah - this is my worry

the options for change are really limited - there is no other text option other than black or white

i suppose i should try asking the site to make a change

indigo, it's tiny prints

i'm not technically inclined in any way

WTG - yeah...it's long. either three or four hours

we'll see

What a cutie! I think she looks kind of sad in #2, so not that one. I voted #3.

I like #3, then 4; but it is hard to read the pink font over the grass...

I like #2, she has a cute look on her face, and I think that text is easier to read. But the bubbles are a bit distracting.

Personally, I'd choose a different card that doesn't have to put the text on the photo like that. Then you can choose which photo you like best without worrying about the text. Noone else is going to care as much as you do about what the card looks like as long as they can read the important info. If you want to send me that photo to lighten up the top left area though so that you can then use black text over it, PM me.

Another vote for #3. And last line is hard to read. Your DD is adorable.

Golly, I just realized she's yours and what a milestone this is for her to be turning 1. Congrats!!!!! (and since my DS' bday is 6/7, I should start planning it!)
