Worn slap out!

I've been taking care if my dad with dementia for a week while my mom is in the hospital. She will not be home for at least another two weeks. So between that, my two kids, my two jobs, etc I am worn slap out!

I'm sorry! I've been thinking about you taking care of your parents, knowing your mom has been sick. I can't imagine how hard it would be...plus working! I wish I was close enough to at least help with the kiddos....I hope things get better for you guys.

I'm sorry. I've watched my mom and MIL both take care of elderly parents and I know how very exhausting it is. Even as much as you love them, it's a huge undertaking. Make sure you take a little time for your own care...even if that means hiring someone to come and help either you or your dad for a few hours a week. It is so incredibly worth it.:hug:
