Dipper shorts - water-resistant and abrasion-resistant fabric..love em!
Chimney Rock shorts - loved the huge pockets and lightweight fabric..it's also water-resistant as well.

with Chimney Rock shorts, i bought a size smaller than my usual Athleta size..they seem to be cut more generously, at least in the waist.

Another vote for Chimney Rock!!! I had to buy a size up because I have larger hips/butt. My usual size 2 was fine in the waist but too tight in the hips/butt.

The pockets are AWESOME:)

The Chimney Rocks are a bit too short for me. I have the Dippers but I had to size up in them. I have the medium length and like them a lot.

yeah the chimney rock shorts are 5" inseam i think..whereas the dippers come in various lengths..5",7", 9"

and now that u mention it, i think its probably the chimney rock shorts are sized normally and the dippers run small.

I wore my black Bettona Bermudas all summer last year. LOVE!

ETA: I just checked the site to see if I could get some chimney rock shorts as recommended above, but they are out of my size. :(

One thing I like about the Dippers is that they work for a smaller waist, curvy hips. I did have to size up for my hips but they are a little big around the waist. But it's no problem because of the draw string cinch. I really like them.
