Our Weber is 11 years old and it's not working. I am trying to figure out if we should see if someone can fix it or if we can get a new one. I thought Webers were supposed to last forever.

20-30 years per my father :)

Weber sells replacement parts and they're often an easy fix. Definitely see about fixing it before replacing it!

Get it fixed. The inner gas line might need cleaning. My parents don't have a Weber, but their have a 31 or so yr. old Morning Glory Gas Grill by Broilmaster and the thing is still working. My dad likes to have things rebuilt a few times before finally deciding to replace things so they still have it.

Our Weber Q200 is almost 10 yrs. old and is showing no signs of giving up the ghost quite yet.

Our Weber is 9 years? It still works and is in good condition. We need a new one, but that's more because of size and wanting more btu's. We definitely have a starter Weber. :)

After a certain age, any gas grill will need parts replaced. New gas element, gauge, grates, etc. Could be something very easy. Our cheapie Charbroil gas grill is still going strong after 14 years and handed it down to my BIL.
