I am thinking of getting this as a gift for my nephew's birthday when he turns 5. Is this a good age for this toy? Do your child/ren enjoy it?

Perfect! Be sure and get the dragon and/ or battering ram and/or the ogre. The way they interact rocks!

Definitely! DS got the castle for Christmas, and the dragon for his 5th birthday - he loves them. All of the 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 year olds who come over also love it - boys and girls.
