Doc says there's lots of time for it to move. I'm resisting googling because I know where that leads. Anyone have any positive stories? TIA!

Not me, but a family friend had it. I don't remember a lot of the details, but I know it moved and she had no problems. HTH.

If you're under 30 wells it will move most likely. I know many women who had this diagnosed at their 20 week ultrasound and it resolved before birth. Even ones with complete previa.

My sister had it diagnosed at her 18 week ultrasound. If I remember correctly her OB had her cut back on travel, but that was it, and the placenta moved well before the birth of her healthy baby boy.

I had it with my second pregnancy and it moved on its own. Everything went smoothly with the delivery.
Good luck!

My cousin had it and it required a c section. All was fine though! Sorry that I don't know more details, but it was never an issue after the birth.

My SIL had it with her third pregnancy when she was 37. It resolved itself and she had no problems.

My sister had complete which didn't move and required a c-section years ago, but that "baby" is now texting me about his newest ipod so all was well!

I was told my placenta was low with DS2. I was told to restrict intercourse because I had already had some bleeding in the 1st trimester (sub chorionic bleed). It moved and all was well. I delivered vaginally.

My old Boss was diagnosed with placenta previa with her 3rd child. She ended up having to have a C-section (after 2 vaginal births). All was well!

My friend had complete previa with her fourth child. It did not move and she had a c-section pretty early, maybe 34 weeks. Baby was in the Nicu for a few weeks, but mama and baby were fine.

My SIL had a complete previa at 4 or 5 months and it moved with DN2. DN2 was born vaginally and completely healthy. SIL didn't even need to go on bedrest.

Thanks, ladies! that's all exactly what I needed to hear. I know that it should move in time, but I was having a hard time really believing that yesterday! I will be hoping and praying for it to move before my next scan...

Does anyone know if it's a big problem to dilate early? I've always had some dilation early...just a centimeter with DD by about 34 weeks, but 3 full centimeters by 31 weeks with DS. I did end up with bedrest for the PTL for DS. Im just worried if I only really have until the 30 or so week mark for this to move....:(

I had almost a full previa and it moved by 31-32 weeks with DD1, and I was able to deliver vaginally. It was my first pregnancy and I was 28 so I didn't know any different than just wanting what was best my baby so I would have been okay with a c-section. I had a friend though (she was 32 or 33) and hers never moved so she had a c-section and she got immense guilt from friends because she had to have one, I felt so sorry for her and couldn't believe her "friends" were that insensitive.
