AF is late. Two negative HPT

So I am usually 28 days maybe plus minus one at least for the part few years. This month no AF. It is 4 days late. I took two HPT just in case and both are negative. But AF is nowhere in sight. Should I worry? Call my doctor or assume that two tests are right and just wait.

Possibilities: Even the most regular women can have an anovulatory cycle where they fail to ovulate. It happens and isn’t a big deal. So that is a possibility as well as the possibility that you simply ovulated later than normal this time. Stress, even good stress like a vacation or change in schedule, can cause a delay in ovulation, making you late. And of course, you could be too early for the test to detect it. I wouldn’t call the doctor just yet.
