I think this is just an allergy concern. If he didn't have a reaction you are fine (although some allergies require a priming event before the immune system kicks in so I wouldn't say he'll never react to a future exposure).

DD loves seafood and she doesn't like a lot of proteins. Enjoy it but it can be an expensive taste :)

Baby girl has FPIES and anaphylactic allergies and her allergist and nutritionist recommended we give fish and shellfish a shot as it is one of the few things she tolerates well via breast milk.

Allergy is the concern with fish, nuts and berries in young babies.

Totally fine. We introduced shellfish around that age. I think the only reason to wait is of there's a history of allergies, and even then many people question waiting.
