weber gas grill -- cleaning?

I have a new gas grill (weber genesis, 3 burners). It uses gas from the house (not a tank). I've used it about 4 nights a week for about 1.5 months. I scrape down the top grill racks every time I use it (heat it up to 500 degrees and then scrape it down). Aside from that I have not cleaned anything. What SHOULD I be doing and how often? My dad (grill master of a charcoal grill) says nothing for a long time.
