I know god doesn't give me more than I can handle, I just wish he would stop confusing me with Atlas.

Most know my story, my wife's depression is coming to a head, i finally have her seeing a new therapist and meeting with a psychopharmacologist today.

Good thoughts would be most appreciated.

Thanks all, it is a long road ahead, there are other unmentioned issues being dealt with that are out of my control. I am not really sure what lies ahead, a lot of times, it comes down to whether a person wants to do the work necessary to change.

I just hope i make the right decisions for my daughter.

Sending prayers, positive thoughts and virtual ice cream cones. I am sorry that your wife is struggling, causing such a strain on you as her caregiver. If you have not done so already, you may want to consider underlying infection as a source of the depression. There can be severe neuropsychiatric manifestations of infections, often not responding favorably to psychiatric medications. Lyme Disease, Bartonella and Strep are 3 examples. Note that testing is very unreliable with Lyme Disease and Bartonella, and IMO, the vast majority of doctors do not think to rule out or know how to properly test for these types of infections.
