Long time, no post for me-DD is now 3. However, we're expecting a son in October so I'm trying to get better prepared this time around. DD did NOT like being worn as an infant, unless it was in a Bjorn facing out after six months. Any tips on, for lack of a better word, coaxing a baby into enjoying being worn? I will admit I'm better prepared with carriers this time around-I got an Ergo baby on sale per a number of recommendations, I still have the Bjorn, and I've made a Baby K'tan style wrap and a couple of pouch slings (I tried ring slings with DD and she hated them, and I never did get the hang of using a Moby I got as a gift). I just think with chasing after a three year old who still likes to sit in the stroller for longer outings, we'll all be happier if baby boy is snuggled up to me and I have my hands free.

practice before hand (a doll will do) so that you are confident. babies can sense fear. LOL

start wearing within the first few days of life.
