I admit that I still use Burt's bee baby bee shampoo and body wash for both boys. This summer, DS1 is in camp and goes swimming every day. Plus we go to the pool most weekend days, so his hair is starting to feel really dry and thick. Any thoughts on shampoos and conditioners I should try?

DS1 is 8 and we are still working our way through an old bottle (gallon) of CA baby.

If you want natural, I like Rainbow brand for my older kids. I get it at Wegmans, Whole Foods, or Vitacost.

My kids swim everyday, I love UltraSwim shampoo, no conditioner needed. I found it at Meijer for 3.99 for 7oz. It's also online everywhere. It really gets the chlorine out, and leaves their hair very soft.

My mom picked up this line for my kids recently and I really like it! My son has been using blueberry and my daughter has been using the pineapple.

I switched ds to Yes to Carrots. His hair is very short and doesn't need conditioner so no suggestions there.

Would you use this on a 3 year old? Do you use shampoo and conditioner?

Our whole family uses Giovanni ... I started with the 50:50 balanced clarifying and then moved to the smooth as silk moisturizing. http://www.giovannicosmetics.com/products/subcat.asp?prodtype=HAIR CARE&cat=ECO CHIC&subcat=SHAMPOO
