A friend and I were chatting about the Royals and how sorry we felt for them with all the media attention and all ! And she made me laugh because she says everyone knows the first one always comes on Tuesdays so the media should just come back then! She was kidding obviously but I thought for fun we could see....

Both babies were due on a Monday and both were born on Saturday. I was my mom's first and I was born on a Monday.

First was Saturday (checked in Fri night for a Saturday induction). Second was a Wednesday. I can't forget that as we had a staff meeting that morning and I was noticeably absent so my coworkers all knew where I was.

This just made me realize my kids were Mon./Wed./Fri., the last two were planned/scheduled though, but according to gestation/not my OB's schedule. Their dates are also the 28th, 27th, and 26th in that order.

Both my kids were born on a Wednesday. My husband works weekends so I think they planned it perfectly! ;). (Weirdly, my husband and I were both born on Wednesdays as well)

DS was born on a Friday at 5:30 pm, one of nurses called him my Happy Hour baby. I could have used a cocktail after 20+ hours of labor. :rotflmao:

DD was 7:00 pm on a Thursday. My great aunt (who was 95 at the time) said I was lucky that my kids liked to be born at a "reasonable" hour.

I was the first born at 1:30 a.m. Saturday. My younger brother was born on a Wednesday and my mom used to say the "full of woe" thing. He is an odd bird, although not really woeful. LOL

My C-section with DS was scheduled for a Monday, but pre-E showed up during my pre-op at the hospital on Friday, so an emergency C-section was done then.

I saw that, but I highly suspect that this is more of an OB issue (not wanting to do births on the wknds), so often scheduling c-secs and inducing births on Thurs/Fri.
