I just got these Hana 2 in 1 shorts at Athleta and really like them. I am 10-12 in dress pants and a medium fits great. I am pear shaped so longer bike/stretch shorts usually ride up, these do not!!!

I have the Hana 2 in 1 also and like them. Also a 10-12 on the bottom and have large. I'm in between in athleta bottoms - sometimes medium and sometimes large.

I didn't try on the large, but med seems to be ok for me. Any chance you have a store close enough to try on?

If you are open to trying skirts, I highly recommend the athleta relay skort.
While I have the Hana 2 in 1 and like them, for the past two months I've only run in the relay skorts. Even more comfy than Hana IMO.
