I have a Coach one, but it is a bit too dressy, though I love it for going out on dates, girls nites, etc.

I am looking for something on the smaller side, but that would still fit my large android phone with its otterbox on, my keys, a lip gloss, and cash, credit cards etc, maybe a checkbook. I love the colored insides so there's no black hole, but not a necessity. Probably with some good organizing pockets too.

Right now I'm toting around my 31 bag with all of the utility pockets, but it's too big and bulky a lot of the time. I love crossbody styles so I can be hands free!

Bagallini maybe - they have several cross body styles. I've seen good things about Lug.

Baggallini does have a good selection. I am looking at a Fossil bag right now that is on sale.

LeSportSac bags have really cute prints, I've been using a Kasey crossbody for the past few summers. Some are on sale right now at eBags. My only complaint about this one is no interior pocket. Two outside pockets though, so I make it work.

ETA: I feel like the SportSac one is for spring/summer b/c of the fabric. For fall/winter, the one I always recommend is The Sak Pax Crossbody. You can wear it 5 different ways. Here are all their crossbody options.

Might be too cheap for your range, but I love my Vera Bradley cross body.

I have a JuJuBe Major that is perfect for this, as long as your key ring is fairly small. I carry it alone when I can, and toss it into a diaper bag/work bag when necessary.

I have this one and really like it! It's medium-sized, though. Might be bigger than you're looking for. Before getting this one, I had a Sherpani that I found at TJMaxx. I love Sherpani bags for casual leather-alternatives!

Maybe too sporty, but I love my Overland Donner for park trips because I can carry the girls water bottles in the side pockets (or sunglasses, etc.) I also have a Lesportsac Everyday Deluxe that I like, but it won't fit my taller water bottle upright, so I don't use it as often. And I have a Vera Bradley Saddle Bag that is my go to bag for shopping trips. Big enough to hold the essentials and then some, light weight, and not as sporty as the Overland Donner.

I love my Ju Ju Be HoboBe. Not all of the available prints are in that link, but most. You can just search for it and see some others. It might be a little big for what you want but definitely has light colored linings, organization and is awesome crossbody.

I have a crossbody bag hat DD1 brought back from a art fair. It's fabric and really cute-koi see them here at farmers markets.

I also see tons of bags at Nordstrom rack...Ross. Etc.

My new fav is a bag DD2 found on he clearance rack at the beach when we went with my mom-$5.99!

I love my baggallini. DD loved mine so much that she got the same one in a different color. Mine is charcoal with a hot pink interior, hers is black with a khaki interior

I agree with a PP, look at the Overland Equipment bags. The donner might be larger than you want, but they have smaller ones, and one very small one is cross body, but can also be worn as a hip pack. It's cute.

Yep, if they aren't too informal, the Overland Equipment bags are my go-to bag. I own a dressy purse or two, but never use them. This is my favorite:

You can get lots of other colors, but if you just want one to try, this is a good deal, esp if you get free shipping.

They are small, but the storage is so good and well thought out, it doesn't matter. I LOVE the key fob. I really struggled with losing my keys before finding these. I will say though, that it works so well for me because we have a Prius and I don't need the key to go into the ignition. Might not be so great it that was different.
