Thanks for the commiseration. I appreciate it. :)

It wasn't so big in the grand scheme...it's the end of summer and kids need to go back (and I need them to!) and two people who promised to visit had other/better things come up. :(

And one has a son very similar to DS and knows exactly how he would react. Which he did. But she was here with her daughter and kept apologizing. I knew she wouldn't have done it if there was another choice. It just sucked for DS (and for me, who had to deal with DS!).
