does anyone use an app (for android) that they like for tracking their period? my brain is like a sieve these days, so i end up getting caught off guard each month. today i was lucky to be close to home when i felt AF hitting while wearing my cute light pink pants.

i need an easy way to help me remember once i get a few months of data in

thx

I've been using iPeriod. It was free and it allows you to enter first & last day. It predicts when your next period is expected, averages the length of your cycle, averages the length of your period and now has other details you can fill in as well. It will also estimate your fertile days and the day you ovulate.

I've been using it for a couple of years now & like being able to just refer to it whenever a doctor needs to know "first day of your last period". I just checked and it shows info as far back as 2 yrs ago which is when I starting tracking again after DS2 was born.

Mine can be irregular when I travel or I'm under stress. I just write P in my calendar :)

:yeahthat:

I use google calendar for work and I just put a P or O note in there (and be sure it's set to private). I have strong o pain so it's easy to track that.

I don't use anything, but looks like I should try one of these apps out like iPeriod. I get PMS way sooner now it seems and I can't trust that feeling anymore as it no longer indicates that my period is imminent! My sore boobs last for over a week before now. I am getting caught off guard now too. Periods suck. :/

I use MyDays. It is supposed to project when you are ovulating and when you should expect your next period. It eventually figures out your normal cycle length. It lets me put in notes for whatever I want. Earlier this month, right before I was supposed to ovulate, I vomited. So, with that note, I was able to figure out why my ovulation, and therefore my period is late. :) I've been happy with it.

This is a great idea! I have to download one of these when AF returns.
