Do these exist anymore? Anyone know where to buy short and/or long-sleeve t-shirts that don't totally cling to your body but aren't boxy and androgynous? I've tried Gap, Old Navy and Merona (Target) but haven't been able to find any thing flattering and not sucked-to-my-body tight. If I go up a size, the shoulders and bust get wonky (I have really narrow shoulders and a small chest). Any suggestions?

I found a few at Loft earlier this summer. I think they were the sun washed style.

I see that you've already tried Gap--what was your experience with their essential ts? I have gotten a ton of these recently and they really fit the bill--not clingy or boxy (on me, anyways!). I find them to be a good balance between comfortable/easy but not dumpy.

I love my Mossimo ts from Target. I have a few I've had for a few years and they wash up well and are so soft. I picked up a couple today for $3. They are fitted nicely, but don't cling. I like the v neck style.

I got some fitted but not tight t-shirts recently at Talbots. They were on the clearance rack with an additional percentage off and ran ~$5-10 depending on the style.

I'm liking Lands End's tees. They come in Fitted, Shaped, and ??Loose??. I find the Shaped are what you describe. I can't do Fitted with my muffin top.

Wanted to add the Target ts I was talking about are on the front of the ad this week too. They are advertised for $5, but there were some for even less.

I like these too. I find several of their other styles fit this bill too. I have to try their t shirts on though bc I find size fluctuates a lot between different styles.

Aintnomomjeans has done a few posts on various tees and how they fit. She's thin but has a bit of pooch (she says this herself) so she has done several posts about her search for non clingy tees. http://www.aintnomomjeans.com/2013/02/t-shirt-showdown-everlane-vs-lands-end.html

Here's a link to everlane: https://www.everlane.com/collections/womens-luxury-tees

These may be too slouchy for you but lots of people I know like Everlane's Ryan tee. Check some blogs to see how other people style them because the link must have it sized to be really slouchy. You can find pics of people wearing it in a less slouchy way. I can only find the Ryan pocket on their site, but I think they make that style in non pocket as well. Maybe just not available right now? $25. https://www.everlane.com/collections/ryan-collection

I love my splendid Ts. They have a nice stylish shape but are not fitted.

Thanks for the tips! I have tried Gap's Favorite t's but not the Essential because I haven't cared for the colors or they weren't on sale as much as the Favorites. I'll check them out as new color options come up. I don't care for v-necks, boat necks or scoop necks - I'm a basic crewneck kind of girl - which means most of this season's options aren't my thing.

As for Target, I've liked some of Merona's shirts in the past but this season's colors and necklines aren't my thing.

You should try LOFT, the ones I have are sunwashed and a very, very slight v-neck almost a crew neck. They are soft and have just the right amount of slouch!

The Favorite T is very fitted!! The Essential T is much better. The Market T is very boxy, and you might be able to even size down in those.

I hate the Favorite fit, but like the Essential for a "fitted" but not clingy look. I have a bit too much extra baby flab still, so can wear a M in the more boxy forgiving Market fit, but go up to a L in the Essential T.
