UPDATE

I ended up getting this charcoal grey t-shirt from ON: http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=99083&vid=1&pid=919647052. I think it looks better in person than in the picture, it's a bit longer on me than n tne model and it has the seam down the back which is an interesting detail. And the price sure is right, at under $17. :)

I am going to wear it with my black Bettona Capri pants.

I bought Essie Nude Beach for my toe nails. Haven't tried it yet, but in the bottle it looks like a very close match to my natural nail color.

We are last minute getting some family picture done over Labor Day. Pictures will probably be at a lake on the beach. I am thinking I might like some pictures in black and white, so I need to really focus on solids or simple patterns. I like to coordinate, but not match. So I have decided on black/white/grey and jeans.

The circle pattern fabric and just that with no other colors or fabrics, in a peasant dress style.

Dh will dress himself and I may not inquire (nag) about it. I am sure he will wear jeans.

I have a pair of straight jeans I can roll up. And I have a black split neck long sleeve t-shirt I can wear with a cream cami underneath. I like that outfit, but don't love it. So if anyone has suggestions, especially for a different top, I'd love to see them. Need to be able to get it by Wednesday.

Also I'd like to do these barefoot. So what color should I paint my toenails. Dh votes blue. I was thinking boring but safe pale pink or dark red. . . .

Oh, I just remembered that I also have a pair of black wide leg linen look trousers and a pair of black Bettona boyfriend capris. So those would be good options too, but I would need to come up with a grey or white top.

I like this top with jeans, especially if your DH is wearing jeans and you're going barefoot. I love blue nails

I love blue nails (my toenails were blue for the entire month of July!) but think they are kind of trendy. I'd go for timeless red for family pics, especially with your B&W&G palette.

Thank you all! I ran to ON to get a black polo for ds, found some white knit shorts for under dd's dress. And picked up a denim dress and several grey tops for me to try on (had both kids with me so no way to try on). If one of those seems to work I will try to post a link. Much cheaper than the Nordys stuff. :)

Do you think three out of four in jeans is a bit off?

And I am looking at my feet and I have sandal tan lines, etc. So I am thinking I want nail polish that doesn't draw attention to my feet. Silvery grey? Pale pink?

Pale pink for the toes if you don't want to draw attention, and I think denim on everyone else and a dress on your DD is fine.
