Target had this deer dress http://www.target.com/p/cherokee-girls-challis-dress-navy-voyage/-/A-14557038#prodSlot=medium_1_7 Foolishly, I only bought one of those and one of the pink cat print. My girls keep fighting over the deer one. I don't really want to buy a second, but I was wondering if any other stores had a deer/woodland creatures theme going (or if they had recently)? My girls are 7.5, but don't seem to care if the clothes look like they are for younger kids.

TIA!

Oh man, that's cute. H&M and Boden are your best bet - you can now buy H&M online. H&M usually does a woodland creatures print dress along those lines in the Fall - we once had a squirrel dress and they also had an owl dress. Boden has the most darling hedgehog dress this year, but it ain't cheap!

Thanks - I always forget about H&M. We do have one now, but online is much easier! I saw the thread about the boden hedgehog - super cute! But my girls are so rough on their clothes that I hate to spend a lot...

I've certainly BTDT with the both wanting to wear the same dress. It seems like gymboree had a cute deer line a few seasons back...might find something on ebay.

Gymboree has a squirrel line right now, but only for younger girls.

This dress from L L Bean has owls: http://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/66383?feat=66382-ppxs&dds=y

An owl skirt: http://www.landsend.com/products/girls-full-gathered-woven-embroidered-skort/id_257643?sku_0=::D2D

The "purple beet" colorway of this one has woodland creatures: http://www.landsend.com/products/girls-long-sleeve-woven-tiered-dress/id_243169?sku_0=::B6Y

Crazy 8 has some stuff right now. They are having a $12.99 and under sale and you can stack a coupon. The baby girl selections are more "woodland creatures" (up to size 5) but kid girl has a "nature" theme that is cute.

Are you opposed to Disney themes? DD used to have a dress (from H & M, in fact) with a big Bambi on the front. (She had a Hello Kitty one, too, from the same line.) Maybe the Disney Store would have something.

Thanks guys! I will need to look these up! I did look at Crazy 8, but didn't see much. For whatever reason their "Forest Magic" line is about "wildflowers, sparkly unicorns, and stripes..." Which could be cute, but no woodland creatures!

Not opposed to Disney - I will see what I can find with Bambi & co.

Thanks!

eta: H&M has this bunny that could be promising... http://www.hm.com/us/product/13288?article=13288-D#article=13288-D I will see what else I can find. Thanks for the leads.

Oh, and the owl stuff above was cute too!

And this one: http://www.hm.com/us/product/12999?article=12999-B

and a hat... http://www.hm.com/us/product/12965?article=12965-A

I don't have any great suggestions, but had to say that I bought DD that deer dress and the cat dress and she loves them too. Out of all her dresses she picked the deer for the first day of school.

Old Navy had some cute dresses when I was there last night. 30% off the whole store right now, 35% for cardholders (20% off clearance).

I believe they had a gray sort of sweater/knit dress with an owl? It was really cute and I almost bought it for DD, then decided not to (it was a 5t, she's more like a 5 or 6, but she probably could have worn it like a tunic with leggings. If she was with me and could have tried it on, I would have bought it if it fit. Oddly, I don't see it on their site though. It was still full price so perhaps a new arrival.

Wow - thanks for all the suggestions. The JCP and Ruum dresses are great! (I have never heard of Ruum).

I will have to check out ON also.

Thanks!

Fivi, I was just thinking about it, and the ON dress only went up to a 5T IIRC. Just thought I'd save you the trip. It was really cute and I wish they had it in larger sizes.

Hmmm... my girls are petite, but not that petite :) thanks for the warning!

Just got the new Hanna catalog and thought about this thread when I saw this adorable cardigan, which is currently on sale:

If you live near a Gymboree outlet store, they have the woodland line of clothing that the regular Gymboree stores carried last year.
