This isn't as much of a b***h as it is a moan. DD4 is my little snuggle puss. She and I have snuggled to sleep since the day she was born. DH wants her out. She turned one last week, and he wants my full attention (or what is left of it) back. I understand him. She isn't easy to sleep with anymore either. She is very restless unless I nurse her every second. Her top teeth just came in, so I'm not really in the mood to nurse her lying down (it hurts). I've opened the pack n play in DD1's room. I made a bedtime routine for her. I try to strike the balance of letting her cry a little, but not too much. We're on night 3 of this already. I'm making a really valiant effort, but I'm still really sad about it all.
I understand. And that is a hard time to do it. Would it help to put the pnP in your room for a while or make it worse? Or put a mattress on the floor of her room so you can lie down with her until she sleeps? Either way, many hugs. I empathize with both POV

I'm in a similar position. DD2 just turned 1 a couple of weeks ago. She sounds like your DD (except she has had her 8 teeth for awhile ;)) My DH has been sleeping in another room & is wanting to return to his bed! I've been dreading the transition, though, so have stalled. Keep us posted! I'd love to hear how it goes for you. Hugs. I love the snuggles from my baby, too. :(

I guess I've been spoiled. DD4 was toothless past 11 months and then sprouted 4 teeth in quick succession. As for how it's going, the first night was awful. The past two nights she slept pretty much through the night besides for waking up to nurse around midnight. It's not going badly. It's just that DD1 really doesn't want to share her room with a baby and I'm just kind of missing her (except when I'm totally relieved that I can sleep by myself). She's extra snuggly in the morning to make up for it though.

I wish a PnP would work in my room, but if I breathed too loudly she would be awake and crying. It has to be in another room.

Sorry. :( I just started bed sharing with DS2 at 8 months. I am dreading 12 months as DH says he's gotta go to his own room then. Makes me sad to think about it. Hope it gets easier for you.
