Rash Guard for picky DS

I am totally exasperated. 9 year old DS needs a rash guard because he is so fair, but complains about the seams (Lands End) or that they are itchy. I think that they are all made of the same material but didn't know if some are softer than others.

Help, please!

I would see if maybe the seams on a Hanna Andersson one are less objectionable to him, as they are flat-locked seams. I'm not sure about the fabrics being different. Oh, another brand we've had that seems soft is from One Step Ahead. They have a line called Sun Smarties. Hope you find something that works!
