I'm looking for birthday present for DS who turns 2 in a couple of weeks. I was looking for some kind of racetrack.

Does anyone have this?

I went ahead and bought it at Toys R Us, but I can return it if I find something better. Does it get repeated play or is it good for one day? Have any other suggestions?

Thanks!

DS received a similar toy the Christmas he was two, and he loved it. He played with it every day for at least a year. He is four now, and he plays with it at least once each week. This is the toy he has:

My DS has this one, also. Got it for him for Christmas just before he turned two. Still plays with it regularly 1.5 yrs later. It is larger and pricier than the one OP linked to (I think we got it for $35 at TRU), so if those things make it not work for you, I would stick with the one you linked. My DS got something similar to that for his first birthday, and really enjoyed it for quite a while--I guess until be got the bigger one 10 months later :)

My daughter got the Fisher Price one for her birthday. its a month after and I'm already thinking about putting it away because it gets used once a day, basically (or at least so it seems to me)

If I pick up the cars and put them at the top, they will get pushed down the ramps. But I rarely see the kids picking them up themselves! The Little Tikes one has a Racing aspect that makes it look more fun!

DS has the Fisher Price one and plays with it all the time. He got it the Christmas after he turned one.

We have the one IansMom linked. It's fun but doesn't get as much play as I thought it was - though DS has older brothers and tends to play with their cars instead. This one looks more fun- http://www.amazon.com/Fisher-Price-Wheelies-Loops-Swoops-Amusement/dp/B0089W1IGQ/ref=pd_sim_t_8

We have this one and my 4 y.o. twins still play with it. As an added bonus it works for many matchbox cars as well ;)
