They are finally offering ISR lessons at a local pool. It's 10 min a day, 5 days a week. How many weeks do you recommend signing up for? I would take DD1 (4) and DD2 (2).

Thanks!

well i think it just depends on long your kids take to "graduate" from the program. I think typically it is 6 weeks?

i did infant aquatics which is like a spinoff of ISR, and it was similar 10 mins a day, 4 days a week. ours did 6-8 weeks i believe. Mine were much younger (1.5 and 2.5) so it took them a little longer..i think for 4yo it probably will be closer to 4-6 weeks.

For our ISR lessons, we paid at the beginning of each week (for the whole week - 5 days) and we took as many weeks as we had to since every child learns at a different rate. Mine took 5 full weeks at 4.5 years old. Younger kids tend to take a bit longer, like PP said.

Ok, thanks. Just trying to get an idea of how much this will cost $165 a week for each kid. It's pricey!

wow, $165 per week, per kid? that *is* pretty pricey! i paid a $60 registration fee for both and then it was $75 per week per kid, so $150/week for both kiddos, and i thought that stung (it was over $1,000 in the end). but i'm in a low COL area.

Yeah that's pricey!! We paid $95/ week per child plus a $100 registration fee per child. So, pricier than PP's infant aquatics but still not as pricey as yours. Wonder if its a COL thing?

It varies so much...ours was $100 registration per child, then $117 per week for both kids combined.
