They have been there 142 days. Surgeries, healing, rehabbing, and now finally going home today! I have been in contact with my friend and she has said the outpouring of support has been amazing and that they have all made the most of their time together there, even though it was obviously a tragic situation.
I can't believe they have not been able to return home until now. I think the wound was just not healed enough, even though he has been out and about recently.
