You know it's a sad day when a company has to recall chocolate :(
I am posting this in the Bargain section because there have been a few discussions here lately about GoPicnic. Amazon just sent me an email because I purchased from them, but I thought I would share because others talked about buying it at Target.
GoPicnic is doing a voluntary recall of a limited quantity of their vegan ready-to-eat meals due to "Undeclared Milk Allergens" in the chocolate. They specify that they pose NO threat to those not allergic to milk. Here is the press release (http://www.fda.gov/Safety/Recalls/ucm367538.htm) I received. FWIW, we have been enjoying their products and with no milk allergies in our house, this doesn't affect us personally, but hopefully the information might help someone else.
