I just read an interesting article about gut flora and a possible correlation with mental health. Thoughts? I'm so curious to see future research.

This has been out there for a while. It's along the lines of "leaky gut", hence the GAPS (Gut and Psychology Syndrome) and paleo diets.

Yep, pretty common knowledge in holistic health circles, just becoming more well publicized by mainstream docs.

Well discussed/documented in the GF community. Celiac causes leaky gut which leads many celiacs to depression, anxiety, mental fog, and on and on. Many celiacs and NCGIs find complete recovery from mental health issues on a GF diet. Lots of celiacs get told it's "all in their head" when in fact it's all in their gut.
