Costco sheet cake -- does it freeze well?

DS's party is next Sunday and the only day I can get to Costco to pick up a sheet cake is Wednesday. Does the cake freeze well whole?

I could always refrigerate it, but 4 days seems like a long time to refrigerate.

Has anyone BTDT?

I am still eating leftover Costco cake from a week ago. It was refrigerated. It is still delicious. I'd just keep it wrapped and refrigerated.

for 4 days, i'd just refrigerate. i'd only freeze it if i was planning on keeping a week or more.

Do freeze any leftovers... they're great! Note: if you cut it before you freeze it, you can take out a bit at a time.
