Hunter rain boots: glossy red or glossy black?

I guess the black ones are more practical, but the red are so fun! I would be wearing them with a tan trench coat. I'm leaning towards red (I love red; have two red cars and a red wallet), but would they look silly with jeans?

I bought them in glossy red but I haven't opened the box yet. So, I vote red!

UPDATE: Well, unfortunately, I got them today and they look kind of silly on. I'm going to take them back to Nordstrom and get a black pair, I think. Thanks for weighing in; I had really hoped they would work.
