DD1 has her heart set on being a kitty this year. Halloween is always hard for her - she changes her mind till the very last minute and in previous years has ditched the costume she begged for the morning of Oct 31 for something familiar. This year she has literally nothing she could even begin to squeeze in to. She wears a size 8 or 9. Most kitty costumes are either furry toddler costumes or trampy teenager costumes (why do they think 13 year old girls should look trampy???).
It's typically quite warm here on Halloween - 65-75 degrees. Something simple like this PBK costume (http://www.potterybarnkids.com/products/kitty-tutu-costume/?cm_src=AutoSchRel) with a fitted top, kitty ears and flouncy skirt might be cute. It's sold out in her size, and frankly, I don't think I want to pay $70 for a costume. I could put it together but a) she really wants a store-bought costume (as discussed in the other thread on Halloween supermom!) and b) I'm guessing there's one out there that meets these criteria.
If you've seen anything at a B&M store, Target, Halloween City, amazon.com, Etsy, or other online retailer, please let me know! Thanks!
