I bought these last spring right as boot season was ending "for $100!!!!) so I'm just now wearing these for the first time. I think I have pretty average calves and the reviews on this style said the shaft was super snug so I never thought I'd have this issue but I do-

The shaft falls down and slouches around my ankle. I love how these look when properly standing up, but they look bad on me due to the slouch. I've tried knee high socks but the boots pull them down around my ankle too and still slouch.
How are you supposed to keep these up? I'm mainly wearing with dresses/skirts- I can't pull off the jeans tucked into boots look although that would probably keep them up.
