My Barnes & Noble had several tables of games and toys 50% off, us members get an additional 20% off through the weekend. I didn't buy much, but there were Thinkfun games, Mudpuppy puzzles and a very few Playmobil sets.

Thank you, thank you! Usually by the time I find out about these, everything is gone, but my B&N had at least 3 tables that were overflowing and had stacks of stuff under the tables, too. I only saw a couple Playmobil larger sets, but there were various M&D toys, and a ton of Hello Kitty baking kits. Also, lots of puzzles, some books, etc etc.

My score for $28: 2 fleece throws, 2 nice spiral-bound blank books (for DGD1 who loves these), a Crayola Twistables colored pencil set in a nice large carrying case that can be a drawing surface, and a Crayola table top easel and portfolio with markers etc that converts to a carrying case. Both the Crayola things will be great for travel.

The 'double 10% off for members' offer applies to everything, not just clearance, and is good through Sunday.

I didn't look carefully, but one of them looked to be a summer set -- maybe a wading pool? The other was a house or some other building. Sorry, DS was having a meltdown and I had to flee.

I saw the Asian Animal Enclosure, orig. marked $80 before the 50% off. Amazon already has it at $40. But if you are a BN member it will be less.

Saw this too but didn't look at the price because as much as I love Playmobil my kids prefer Lego. So trying not to buy more PM!

One of the P'mobil sets I saw was this one: http://www.toysrus.com/buy/action-figures/preschool/playmobil-harbor-cafe-5129-12776820 -- I thought the waiter looked vaguely creepy. The other set was smaller and looked vaguely summery but I didn't look closely. Those were the only 2 P'mobil boxes I saw.

They also had this M&D bubble bucket: http://www.amazon.com/Melissa-Doug-Mollie-Bubble-Bucket/dp/B004PBMNRI and some really cute M&D bath toys.
