I lost it today on DH. I just got so tired of hearing him yelling at the kids and throwing his fits. I told him to "man up" and start owning his behavior and his temper and start apologizing to the family when he loses his temper. I told him I was sick and tired of always trying to interfere and protect the kids from his screaming. The words "man up" were used repeatedly by me and then I finished with "you owe this family an apology" before I walked out.
Anyways, now I'm cooling off, I feel badly for yelling at him in front of the kids, but I'm also still really angry that he always loses his temper and then NEVER apologizes for it unless I ask him to. Why does he feel like it's okay for him to be mean to CHILDREN?
Just needed to get this off my chest.
