I'd like to take advantage of the current sale for a jacket for DD in size 100. The best baby jacket worked perfectly and was the only thing we needed but she's sized out of them unfortunately. This is for SoCal so no down puffers or anything too heavy. Any recommendations?

Bump. Any SoCal Hanna fans out there?

Non-Hanna recs welcome too!

I've never tried warmer from Hanna than the best baby jacket. For my DD I like the fleece lined mini boden jackets. That may be warmer that you're looking for though. My DD does wear them here in SoCal on the coldest days.

My kids just wear a simple fleece jacket. We've had several different kinds - Land's End, TCP, Columbia, LL Bean - and they're all pretty much the same for our purposes. They've never needed anything warmer than that.

I live in NorCal not SoCal, but similar (albeit slightly colder) weather. I LOVE the HA Wind at your Back Anorak: http://www.hannaandersson.com/style.asp?styleid=36235&clr= That's probably all you'd need for SoCal winters (we use them in the spring/fall/summer here). It's light but heavy enough to provide some warmth, plus I like that it's water resistant.

We have used several Hanna jackets here in NorCal. Best baby was our favorite but we also like the polartec fleece and the fleece lined survivor jackets. My kids wear the regular survivors most of the year in the warmer months and the fleece lined survivors the rest of the year. We got the mini Boden teddy zip ups this year for the first time and are in love with those. I'm converted!

Just saw this, we have had this jacket for a year: http://m.hannaandersson.com/Style.asp?from=SRCH&styleid=40416&simg=40416_85M&mwc=85M. It got pretty cool last "winter" and it was used quite a bit esp in the mornings.

She also has a thick Hanna cardigan that she wears EVERY day!

This fall Nana bought her this jacket: http://m.hannaandersson.com/Style.asp?from=SRCH&styleid=40454&simg=40454_67D&mwc=67D

DD says its warm but not too much. I like it but almost want to grab a mini Boden fleece lined jacket for the In between the big puffy jacket and the real light jacket/sweater.

Or maybe Hanna has another I have not seen IRL. Need to return something soon so may e ill make that sale too.

HTH.

Thanks for the replies. I think we're going to go with the Mini Boden Shaggy Lined Zip Through (http://www.bodenusa.com/en-US/Girls-1H-12yrs-Coats-Jackets/31678-GRY/Girls-1H-12yrs-Grey-Marl-Small-Star-Shaggy-Lined-Zip-Through.html) ($33.60) and the Teddy Zip Sweatshirt (http://www.bodenusa.com/en-US/Girls-1H-12yrs-Sweats-Fleeces/31671-PNK/Girls-1H-12yrs-Radish-Teddy-Zip-Sweatshirt.html) ($30.40) since they are currently on sale. I missed out on the stacking coupon code (it was working for me last night but not this morning). Are these the best prices I will get on these or should I wait for another code/sale?

We have both and loooooove them! I did get them cheaper earlier in the season with the $25 off $100 code stacking with a Catch of the Day sale - worked out to $23.50 for the teddy zip and cosy vest and $27.50 on the shaggy lined zip through. But I don't know if that will happen again before the items run out.

Those are great prices! So bummed I miss out on that sale. I really want the Cozy Vest too. I ended up ordering the Shaggy Lined Zip Through from Nordstrom with a price match. The nice CSR matched the lowest $33.60 even though the color I wanted (navy) was priced higher than that. I'm happy I was able to get the color I wanted AND I don't have to wait 4 weeks since it's backordered on the Boden website. Plus returns/exchanges will be easier since I'm not sure about sizing. I am hoping for a better sale/code on the Teddy Zip and Cozy Vest since those are only marked down 20% as of now.

Late to this post but Hanna's Fleece Lined parka is awesome! I got mine from the Outlet for less than $40. I wish they made a plain blue one that Dd1 could use for school (she wears a uniform that requires navy or blue) on the few days it rains or she needs more than a sweater or sweatshirt here.

Sizing wise they run big though. Dd1 didn't outgrow her 100 until she was almost 6 and while Dd2 is almost entirely in all size 4 stuff she can still wear the size 90 FLP.
