Just an FYI, esp with the holidays coming up...

You will now need to spend $35 to qualify for free super saver shipping. That's a huge jump over their old $25 minimum :thumbsdown:

They are really pushing people into Prime it seems. Amazon drives me nuts too because of the deals they used to offer (30% off diapers) and because of the add on items that once would have been prime eligible. But, the streaming videos on Prime make it well worth it to us.

Yea they might push people right away from Amazon. Plus taxing in more states, it is less and less a bargain. Still convenient, but not a bargain.

Argh. I also have a love/hate relationship with Amazon. I was about to re-up for Prime but now I don't want to, because that's probably what they want everyone to do in response to the $35.

Does this effect the minimum for Add-On items too?

Right now it is still showing $25 for add on items to ship, but I'm not sure when the SSS jumps to $35 so it could still change I guess.
