I'm trying Bogs this year for the 4 year old, haven't decided what to buy the baby. I remember DS1 refusing to walk outside in stiff snow boots when he was 1 but I haven't had any luck finding flexible soled boots.

Bogs for the older one and target circo boots for the baby.

For your DD, I found a pair of these last year, used but like new, and loved them so much we found another pair for this year http://www.amazon.com/Faded-Glory-Pink-Winter-Boots/dp/B00B57MKGO Flexible sole, there is a clear window under the toes to see how much growing room they have, super easy on and off, and kept DD2's feet warm and dry. And used, I think I paid $2 per pair. Love them! For my big kids, we do LE Snow Flurry boots, which have a similar opening style http://www.landsend.com/products/boys-snow-flurry-boots/id_249506_1189

We love Bogs. So easy to get on and off, and warm without being bulky.
