Anyone have any experience with UV-blocking shirts (long-sleeve) that are soft as well as thin/lightweight? I want to get some for the grandmas for Christmas because they like to be outside to do yardwork but both are REALLY sun-sensitive - they get the bad bumpy rashes from sun exposre but they are horrible about wearing sunscreen too if it's not their face!

Looking for something that would work for hot TX summers. I ordered a couple from Athleta that I actually love myself (stylewise) and are nice because they are button-down with snap buttons (my mom still has some neuropathy in her hands), but the material seems pretty thick and hot - almost like a raincoat! I can just imagine sweltering in it! I see that LLBean has some but reviews are mixed (rubber buttons - what??).

Other suggestions?

I found this very comfy and wore it on a boat trip and while snorkeling. It has a zip closure.

I got DH two long sleeved ZnO tee shirts. The feel soft on the skin and are lightweight and breathable.

The best promotion I've seen from their website is 30%off plus free shipping, but that was for the end of the summer clearance. If you see 20%off plus free shipping, I would jump on that.

Sunday afternoons sells nice UPF visors. I have the Sicily version, but they have a Garden version as well. The best promotion I've seen from them is free shipping for purchases over $50.
