Maybe everyone already know this, but my local Target (two of them actually) had all Halloween costumes 50% off and candy was 30% off. Things like decorations and paper goods were also 50% off.

I got a Spiderman muscle costume for $10
a Ninja costume for $10
an Indiana Jones hat for $5
34 ct. Solo plastic cups (orange or black) for $1.49
28 Halloween paper plates (Solo brand I think) for $1.49
Bounty napkins, Halloween prints for $1.49 (I think) 50% off either way.

Hope that helps!

Our store had some small bagged lego sets half off too.

Our store had a lot of boy costumes but only a few for girls -- monster high and Doc Mc Stuffins. All food items were 30% off, but everything else was 50%. I couldn't resist a Hello Kitty pumpkin carving set.

I just bought the last 4 spiders I've been eyeing, but I'm wondering when it will be 75% off as well. I think I'll get some paper goods then as my store still has a ton.

Thanks, good to know! I'll swing by on Mon after dropping the kids off at school.

I went to 2 targets tonight and totally scored and ended up getting like 7 toddler princess outfits.

When I get home I give DD Cinderella and she is so excited but then says it is too itchy. How can I make that cheapy material on princess costumes not so itchy. Ideas?

Have her wear cotton jammies underneath?

We have that problem with most dress up outfits. DD (5) usually ends up taking them off bc of it unless she can comfortably fit a LS shirt under it so she can't feel the itchy parts. That might help.

DD ended up picking Supergirl as her Halloween costume and picked that one bc it was that soft crushed velvet material and wasn't itchy! Would your DD be interested in that dress up? It was a target costume and my Target still had some!

My oldest is very sensitive to this too, so she just always wears her clothes underneath the costumes when she plays dress up. Sometimes we can make a short sleeve tee work under some of them, other times we carefully put it on over a long sleeve shirt.

FYI, I just got back from target. All non-food Halloween stuff is at 70% off and food is 50% off. The costumes were really picked over, but I snagged a ninja and skeleton one for my older boys, plus a bunch of those cool pumpkin peg decorating kits. We used those this yr and they were easy and the kids who came to our house kept complimenting our pumpkins. Xmas stuff is already out too!
