Found these today. Never worn anything this "clunky" but oh my...they felt really good on my horribly picky and abused feet. But are they ugly? I would wear them with jeans or dark pants.

Tried these on in store:

Found these online (will have to order either way to get correct size):

Or is this color more versatile?:

Be honest. I hate wearing boots all winter, would love to wear my flip-flops, but that's not gonna work and I need a really comfy and supportive shoe. Fire away (or suggest something in a similar style/price range!)

I tried these on in the store and was thinking about getting them but decided against it after I read some reviews on Amazon about the heels splitting.

I ended up getting this similar pair from Nordstrom Rack.
http://www.amazon.com/Born-Womens-Toby-Black-Grain/dp/B002IW8OE2

They were $10 more but Born is higher quality than BOC.

I did want to try Dansko or Sanita but I just couldn't get over how heavy they were.

I have a very similar pair to the first one you linked to by mine are black clark's Grasp Idea loafer they are very comfortable. I don't consider them cute, but the shoes I throw on when it is wet and ugly outside and I don't want to mess up my shoes or when I will be walking a good bit like I wore them a few weeks ago to game where I had a long way to walk to get to the stadium. All of my other shoes have a heel so I need something that also has a heel.

Oh man....I just read the first 10 reviews or so and I see what you mean. That's really disappointing. I guess back to the drawing board. Thanks for pointing this out!

I like the last pair the best. I say for spring for Dansko Professional. Some of the patterned ones go on sale. Or go with a classic brown and you will wear them forever.

I think that it's worth going for Dansko or Sanita Professional cligs too. I personally like the patent ones because they don't really scuff and look new for a long time (vs the oiled leather).

I have a pair of Dansko professional in patent claret (darker red). They have been my go-to shoes in winter and fall for the part 5 years and still look and feel great!

I just bought a pair of Sanitas, and I hope I have good luck with those too.
