View Full Version : Kids bathrobes?

My kids are asking for bathrobes now that the weather is turning chillier. We haven't had any before. At recommendation of places to look? DD is 5 (wears a 5 or 6) and DS is 3.5 (wears a 3 or 4). Would like to find something that might last a few years both size wise and style wise (hoping to get something without characters).

Thanks!

I like those but wasn't sure about the sizing for DD. Seems like she could outgrow the 4-6 really soon, but an 8-10 seems huge. Anyone know how they run?

I don't know about the robes but the PJs run very large. I have a 3T nightgown that DD1 is winning in and she wears a 4/5 most of the time.

I saw some at Gap on Friday night. DS' is from Lands End. It's really nice.

We JUST got the ones for DSs from lands end and they are super nice. Not quite as thick at the LL Bean ones but the hood is nice. For the money they seem great.

I happened upon llbean for both my big kids at the local thrift shop and they are awesome! Thick comfy fleece, attached tie belt, and wash beautifully. They adore them. My dd is a tall slim 8 year old and she is wearing the 10-12 though I'm sure the 8-10 would have fit nicely too. DS had a 5-6 which fits him fine though he's in a 6-7 clothes.

DD has one from Target and it's the third year she's wearing it! To be fair, it was a bit big when I got it and this is probably her last year with it. DS has one I got at Costco last year. Both kids wear their robes 3-5 days a week during colder weather and I think the quality on both are great--definitely for the price!

Just got my girls robes from LE. Today is F&F sale with 30% off and free ship over $50 (after sale price). The robes are $29 before discount. DD1 happened to need boots too so I was able to get boots and 2 robes for $60 shipped (then I had Shop Your Way reward so actual cost was $50).

I had looked online at Kohls, Gap, etc and these seem comparable in price and I like their CS and return policy.

Do you want terry or fleece ones? I always get fleece ones from target for my kids.

Been very happy with the LE ones I got two years ago.

We bought DDs solid blue bathrobe at Target. They also sell matching blue slippers. As far as I know only in kid sizes, not toddler.

Thanks! Sounds like a lot of good options. :) Anyone know how the lands end ones run? Would I get more than one year out of a 2T-4T for my 3 year old DS?
