DD2 arrived!!

DD2 arrived early evening. It took a while. Like her big sister, she got delayed coming into the canal but she made it eventually. She is doing well now. Looks just like her big sister. We are working on nursing. Hopefully we will be successful.


Eta: she was 8lbs 4 oz and 21 inches long. She is so long!!

Congrats on your new precious one! I stubborned my way through the first weeks of nursing DD2, then called in a lactation consultant. It made a huge difference, mostly in how *I* felt about it. Don't hesitate to call in the troops if you need support. :)

I am already debating in my head. Getting the lipstick nipple on one side so if I can't correct I am definitely calling. I had miserable time nursing DD1 even with a LC.
