How do you store Imaginext and Playmobil?

We are starting to collect a lot of Imaginext cars, people, etc and also Playmobil sets. They are everywhere! How do you store them?

We have a large wicker type basket that has a liner that i bought at target(they come in different sizes. That holds all of our people and vehicles. I also have a large one full of rescue hero guys. For playmobile at the moment its all out on a train table and some of the smaller stuff we just keep in a plastic pencil box.

We keep them in plastic bins and sometimes sort out the guys/people from the rest of the pieces (playmobil mostly). We have several of those shelving pieces from Target that hold multiple bins the size of a shoe box and some that are twice as wide.

We have a big bin for our playmobil with a smaller container stored inside it for the tiny tiny pieces.

All the big buildings are on top of a low book cabinet/case (a set like an Expedit but Target- Itso and you could customize storage). All of the medium sets are in the cabinet below. All of the guys and accessories are in a shallow fabric drawer bin that they can remove, if needed.
