DD has quite a collection these days. She only lets her "inner circle" in the crib. I have a cute little bookcase in her room for them at the moment, but would rather use it for books and toys. Is there a fun way to store them where she can see them besides the bookcase or is that the best option?

On top of the Expedit in DD's bedroom (books and other toys are below). The ones she doesn't play with as often are in a plastic tub in her closet, but she can get them herself if she needs them.

You mean DD's bed isn't the proper place for all 1,792,094 of them? ;)

We keep ours in a book shelf, but I have been thinking of getting this for DD1: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/70115578/

We have two of these:
Boon Animal Bag Stuffed Animal Storage,Orange http://amzn.com/B004OR1DY2

They hold a huge number of stuffed animals! You can't see them all, but the bag has a big mesh panel that's easy to see through and to open. They live on the foot of DS's bed most of the time, but they sometimes get used for soft seating.

The Velcro on this isn't strong enough to hold if you out a decent amount of animals in it. I tried hanging ours over a closet rod and it won't hold.

We use this IKEA soft chest for toys:

Actually, we, um, have 3 of those with these smaller bins inside to break up the space:

We are no longer accepting stuffed toys as acceptable gifts.

DH took this pic while I was out of town one day to show the grandparents and beg them to stop buying stuffed animals.

I think I just had an anxiety attack! I've also told everyone NO MORE stuffed toys. I've given away so many. Such a waste of space!

This is awesome! :hysterical:

I keep culling DS's. Some of his once beloved are on high shelves. Most are on his bed, and in a mesh container.
