Good site/store for "keepsake" Christmas ornaments?

I'm thinking that I would like to give my goddaughter a different nutcracker ornament every Christmas. Since it's something I'm hoping she'll be able to keep for many years, I'd like to find ones that are especially nice quality. Any recommendations?

Do you mean a different nutcracker each year or a different character from the ballet each year? We have purchased nice nutcracker ornaments at the ballet every year but I'm not sure who makes them. What a nice idea!
