Larger blanket or throw similar to Little Giraffe?

The time has come to move on from our Little Giraffe blankets. DS has 3 b/c he uses them at home & at school. He's asking for the same blanket, but bigger, and monogrammed w/ his name (one of his current ones has his name, and he always wants to use that one). LG does make larger blankets, but they are INSANELY expensive. There must be a lower priced alternative out there! Any suggestions on a blanket that will feel similar? The funny thing to me is, after being washed several times, I think they feel horrible!!

I'm not familiar with Little Giraffe, but both of my girls are getting the throw size of these blankets: http://www.thecompanystore.com/cotton-fleece-blanket-and-throw/38161.html?start=13&cgid=ck-quilts-blankets&dwvar_38161_color=FUCHSIA for Hannukah and you can monogram them. The throw size is still quite large.

Thanks! The Little Giraffe are a very plushy microfiber (made out of poly). I love the idea of cotton fleece, never seen it before!

His current blanket is only 29x35, so 40x70 would be great.

These are super plushy and soft. I was really pleased by the softness when I got them.
