boden sizing for baby girl?

i'm trying to decide between 6/12 and 12/18 size for dd, in the stripe cotton dresses. she wears a true 12 month in carters onsies and jamies. but can also wear most of dd1's old gap dresses in 6/12.

any thoughts?

also, do their baby socks stay on? hanna andersson is sold out of all the girl colors...and i'm sick and tired of all the socks falling off!

The baby dresses run very big, IMO. Definitely take a look at the garment measurements on their website. We didn't have Boden for my older DD till she was maybe 3, but for my younger DD, I always sized down (she's average for her size whereas DD1 is very tall). DD2 is 3.5 and can still squeeze into her 18-24 month baby Boden!

PS the baby socks don't stay on. Adorable, but they don't! Hanna rules in this respect.

HA are the only socks I've found that stay on. No BDTD on the dresses.

Ditto the above about the socks. Call the Hanna outlets and see if they have any baby socks. The Boden ones do not have the grippy bottom.
